In today's interview, I had the privilege of interviewing Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters Tebow, who is Miss Universe 2019 and wife to Tim Tebow, as well as a philanthropist, human rights activist, and entrepreneur. She is passionate about encouraging each and every person to find a way to make a difference.
In the interview, Demi and I discuss how she has used her faith and platform as Miss Universe, as well as surviving a scary carjacking incident in South Africa where Demi was surrounded by five armed men and escaped, to encourage others to stand up for those who need it. Demi goes on to share how this incident inspired her #unbreakable campaign where she has worked to inspire, train and advocate for women to stand up for themselves.
After sharing about her newlywed life to Tim Tebow, Demi also shares about work with "Her Song" - the anti-human trafficking ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation - where she actively works to fight the evils of human trafficking which affects over 40+ million people a year. As we discuss all that Demi has been able to do, we also talk about her favorite verse and how we are each uniquely hand-knit by God to use our lives for His glory.
